Film Making 101

Come one, come all, and witness the marvelous world of filmmaking, where dreams become reality! 

In 4 classes, you’ll be taken through your inner thoughts, learn how to bring a story out of there, put it on paper, and film it for the world to see.

This is a workshop for storytellers and those who would help them bring their stories to life.

Basic Introduction to the world of filmmaking. From the conception of your idea to selling it on Blu-rays and streaming services.

Only 50 AED for each session!

Class 1:

• Storytelling and screenwriting: Whichever media you consume, there is always a story being told. So, in this first class, you will learn the art of storytelling, and what to do from the “light-bulb” moment to the final written version of your idea.  

Class 2:

• Pre-Production: Now that you have your idea on paper, it is time to figure out how to bring it to life. This class will cover how to fund your project, how to prepare for it, and who is involved in this crucial stage of any production.

Class 3:

• Production: The exciting part of filmmaking, the action itself. In this class, we will go behind the scenes of different productions and learn about the set life and who is involved. 

Class 4: 

• Post-Production and Marketing: The final stage of the filmmaking process that could make or break your project. This class will cover your project's final steps, such as editing, VFX, composing music, and even structuring your poster. Then it is time to talk business, the movie business.
